I would like to share with you this short video of Lindsay Wall, who died from mesothelioma in November 2019.  Lindsay contracted mesothelioma after being exposed to asbestos while working as a fitter and turner in his youth.

We are grateful to Lindsay, who despite his suffering, wanted to leave behind this important message for other young tradies to try to prevent others from going through the same fate.  Occupational diseases and work-related deaths are preventable by following safe practices, yet so many have lost their lives.

Around 4000 Australians die every year of an asbestos-related diseases – that’s double the road toll.
