On 28 April each year, countries around the world pause to remember loved ones who have lost their lives due to a workplace incident or occupational disease.
This year we will be commemorating the International Day of Mourning online. This decision has been made in line with the ban on public gatherings and public health advice for the coronavirus (COVID-19).
The International Day of Mourning is important to those who have lost loved ones to work-related incidents or illness. Together we remember and commemorate their lives and share their memories.
We invite you to join our online service at 11.55am (for a 12pm start) on Tuesday, 28 April 2020 via the International Day of Mourning website, which can be accessed at: idm2020.com.au.
